Reviving!!

Hey there.. I'm back and I finally decided to change my very first blogspot theme.. Now I applied the second one (and I hope to stick with this until such time I can learn to make my very own theme). I forgot where I really found it.. I'll just look for it again..


Just reviving my blog and making it's look more interesting.. LOL sorry but I really like my theme now :) brown.. though my favorite color is really pink :)


Yeah so much for this new design.. So far I am having my long break again from school.. That'll be 3 days.. but technically 2 days (since Sunday is really Saint Xavier's Day for December 3.. yeah the school DID reschedule the holiday so we won't have this class-holiday-class type of schedule :) That'll be good I think..

laptop battery life..

I just got a new laptop by the way (well technically it's not mine.. since I didn't pay for it :p ) and I've been reading about taking good care of laptop's battery life. I'm so concerned about it since I wanted really longer battery life. My friends dilemma was that their battery life is really short and worst sometimes charging it up is not working anymore.

Hmm.. I think the first step is to have a good first charge.. but I really don't know what to follow. It's not even in my manual.. so I just have to research and research over the net.. Among the first which I read was this..

Asus Laptop battery using instruction

• Most of the new laptop battery at the factory are set to sleep mode, the first boot with only about 5% of the electricity. You should not use an external power supply at this time, let the battery exhausted, until shutdown, then switch on the external ac adapter and the first charge had better over 15 hours. After fully charged, you should charge after the exhaustion of batter, the time of the second and third charge should be more than 12 hours, in order to activate Asus laptop battery and lay a good foundation for future use.
• Notebook's battery life is measured in terms of the number of charging and discharging. Do not enable the Asus laptop battery unless it is necessary, if you don't use the battery for a long time, you should charge it to about half full and place in a cool place to keep. If you enable the Asus battery, you should run out of power after the charging, and do not plug in the AC power before exhausted. When the Asus laptop battery fully charged, you should disconnect the AC input because overcharge will make the Asus battery overheat and that will shorten the Asus battery life.
• Generally speaking, nowadays the laptop are with intelligent Asus battery protection, the Asus laptop battery will not be damaged due to normal operation, but still may damaged for the life-span of Asus battery or other special reasons.
• Lithium-ion Asus battery should fast charge in constant current and then switch to slow charge in constant voltage when the voltage reaches a certain value. Usually the laptop doesn't have a strictly constant-current charge monitoring device. Charge current will turn small when system load large and vice versa, the current is decided by the Asus AC adapter power margin, it is obviously.
• Discharge in a current as small as possible, the action is to slow down the CPU, stop the hard disk, adjust the screen to the most dark, and then do not run any programs until the laptop automatically shut down. The reason to emphasize the small current discharging is to prevent the Asus laptop premature detect the laptop battery voltage shortage.

having a try with Twitter

Exploring different social networking sites is hard huh.. For now I am trying Twitter.. to see what's with it, why are the artists (bands, tv icons, etc..) in my country getting so hooked to it. 

I signed up last night. Then when I was just about to customize, there was this like site error.. I can't change the background image.. wow negative points for that. I leave some comment to their service or whatever you call it saying my problem. Then I checked out this morning. I tried to customize it again. And holla! everything is fine. I successfully customize it and ready to announce to the world I have one.. Btw, twitter got some limited user "customization". You can only change the background image (whether to make it tile or not) then change design colors (background color, text color, link color, sidebar color, sidebar border color). But it's enough for someone who post a lot.. design is not the priority readability is. :)

another time with Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen

I always loved Sci-fi Movies. And that's because of the very first film of the Transformers trilogy movies, Transformers. I know it's kinda late to give some reviews or what from this movie. It has been released like 1 year ago already. It's just that every time I open our tv and check out what's with HBO I always see this Transformers 2 lol! I don't know what's the schedule of this cable that's why.  Note: I may react too much.. but I always love all Transformers movies


Well going back to the movie. I like it, from the robot battle scenes, to the story, actors, Witwicky's personalities, funny lines, soundtracks..and more. The story is well formed. It's not like other sci-fi films which just focus the movie with the special effects, scenes. etc. You can easily find the cause of the new war in this film.. Autobots vs. Decepticons again.. but this time it's because of The Fallen's want to revenge through the help of his disciple - Megatron. Megatron was revived by these all new Decepticon robots. They are seeking for this matrix to something like put some energy to that thing that would destroy the sun. Well so much for it..


Then I can read from user reviews over some sites that they didn't like this movie well. The first movie is far way better than this. as they say. Well these people extracted every detail of the film, from the size of the robots which they think is kinda confusing.. till the fighting scenes and story? Not so sure about it. But why? Well maybe it's like a rule for every sci-fi film to be consistent all through out the movie series and the movie itself. Right? 


Hmp. But watching it over and over again, I noticed some things, aside from the user reviews that I read.. The fighting scenes were too fast, especially Optimus Prime vs. The Fallen and Megatron. I also think that they should prolonged the scenes. And the movie turned to be like melodramatic one.. when Sam Witwicky died (for few minutes?) then next scenes, he was like in the heaven talking with the Primes? And the matrix, which turned to dust, now returned to its original form.. why? Because of the pursuit and sacrifice of Sam? Oh common.. I wasn't expecting that in a sci-fi movie. It was like sci-fi and fairy tale and magic type movie all in one! Wow.. to think about that, that makes Transformers 2 very unique, irritating maybe but really cool! I don't know it really makes me laugh now. Robots? Pixie Dust? Heaven with the Primes? lol. No I am not being sarcastic with this. It's just good. Really different.


I say it's far way better than Clash of the Titans. Transformers 2 have a very good story.. (don't argue with me ok?). It may have few battle scenes with the main robots but this movie makes every viewer to react, think about it, talk about it over and over again. It's not like after watching the movie, the movie ends. It makes us hate it or love it... what happens? It makes us remember the movie.. haha like it! RATING? 5/5!! Can't wait for the 3rd movie :)

A new start...

It's a cold early Monday morning and I'm wondering if I could probably get my second "real" blog. I actually made one again and used "foxyladycid" as its url. LOL I wanted foxylady alone.. but it was actually denied! Let me use foxyladycid then. I actually wanna use "foxy" cause I use this (below) image too often for my online accounts. 

It's a character from an anime "Akazukin Cha-cha" which I loved to watch when I was a bit younger. LOL. Anyways I hope foxyladycid does work at all or i'll try to have those pinkest username in the world - Pinkalicous, Pinkest Pink, Pinkykisses. Oh so much for that. I guess i'll be so happy starting to blog again. A wider shoutbox is the best gift a blog could probably give me. Then.. ja ne!!
